As the name indicates, it will focus on “A Gender Perspective, Vital for Human Development.” In conjunction with this Symposium, the Medical Education Cooperation with Cuba (MEDICC) will coordinate a special program of visits to Cuban healthcare facilities.

The Symposium will be directed by Carlos Marti Brenes, the president of UNEAC.
